What is House of Platiipussy?
House of Platiipussy is an independent art and creative brand built around original artwork, fine art prints, limited editions and other beautifully strange things.
The work explores femininity, bodies, pleasure, nature, softness, transformation and the slightly feral parts of being human.
Are all artworks original?
Original Art listings are one-of-one physical artworks.
Fine Art Prints are reproductions of original House of Platiipussy artwork.
Limited Editions may include numbered print runs, hand-finished details or other elements that make each release more collectible.
Each product page will explain exactly what you are purchasing.
What does “hand-finished” mean?
Some prints may be individually embellished by hand after printing using materials such as fluorescent pigment, metallic paint, pearl, shimmer or other finishes.
Because these details are applied by hand, small variations are expected and are part of what makes each piece individual.
Why does the artwork sometimes look different under different lighting?
A lot of House of Platiipussy work uses fluorescent, metallic, pearlescent, iridescent and UV-reactive materials.
These can behave very differently depending on natural light, warm or cool indoor lighting, UV light and the angle you view them from.
Basically: your screen is doing its best, but some of the magic only happens in person.
Are the fluorescent pieces glow-in-the-dark?
Not necessarily.
Fluorescent / UV-reactive materials become especially bright under UV or blacklight.
Glow-in-the-dark materials absorb light and continue glowing after the light source is removed.
If a piece contains true glow-in-the-dark elements, this will be stated on the product page.
Will the colours look exactly like they do on my screen?
Not always.
Screens display colour differently, and fluorescent, metallic and pearlescent finishes are particularly difficult to photograph accurately.
We make every effort to show artwork as faithfully as possible, but some variation is unavoidable.
Are frames included?
Unless specifically stated on the product page, prints and originals are sold unframed.
Any frame shown in styled photographs may be for display purposes only.
Do you ship internationally?
Selected products may be available for international shipping.
Available destinations and shipping options will appear at checkout.
International customers may also be responsible for customs duties, taxes or import charges in their country.
What happens if my order arrives damaged?
Contact us as soon as practical with your order number and photographs of the artwork and packaging.
We’ll work with you to resolve the issue in line with our Returns & Refunds Policy and your applicable consumer rights.
Can I return something if I change my mind?
Eligible standard products may be returned within the timeframe outlined in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
Original artwork, commissions, personalised pieces and certain hand-finished or made-to-order items may not be eligible for change-of-mind returns.
Do you take commissions?
Commission availability will vary depending on current workload and the type of project.

Can I use your artwork on my own products?
Not without written permission.
Purchasing an artwork or print does not transfer copyright or reproduction rights.
